Constancy - Shunryu Suzuki

Excerpted from Zen Mind, Beginner’s Mind – Informal Talks on Zen meditation and practice 1970

Constancy is a good word to replace balance, or to at least help give the word a more solid base. Even when Life seems out of balance, you still have the choice to remain constant. No matter how tumultuous things can get, a calm, cool, collected, and constant mind will prevail. That's zenity.
